"It is a joy working with Torch. The fact that they listen to the client and add value to your ideas is really appreciated. Their ongoing enthusiasm for the job and for the work we do and their understanding of communities is invaluable."

Torch were asked to devise a complete campaign for the Wild About Plants Project, including an interactive website and printed literature for plant conservation charity, Plantlife.

The aim of the project is to get schools and families with young children out and about enjoying the nature on their doorstep, whilst learning about the huge variety of plants growing locally.

Two illustrated characters, Ash and Daisy, pop up all over the place, pointing out lots of interesting facts and activities across the colourful and engaging project website. They also feature in the accompanying printed literature and downloadable pdfs, which include the ‘Bee Scene’ education pack - all about spotting and recording types of bees and their numbers.

The CMS site is very comprehensive, easy to use and to update by Plantlife’s communications team. An important bonus is that the website gathers invaluable data, helping the charity to track and record statistics including the type and number of bees in a particular area.
